Herringports fine craftsmanship is shown at its very best with their range of fourposter beds.

The solid oak and cherry beds are constructed using traditional mortice and tenon joints and square wood dowels.
The timber for the panels is carefully selected for its character and grain pattern. The panels are then spoke shaved (a hand held plane), which gives the "ripple" effect as seen on 16th to 18th century furniture.
After each fourposter is constructed they are lightly distressed and handpolished to either a golden, medium or dark oak finish.
Offered with a choice of either balaster or barley twist posts the Herringport fourposter will make a central feature for any bedroom.
